The Commission on Family Medicine, the Colorado Association of Family Medicine Residencies and the Colorado Institute of Family Medicine work collaboratively to support Colorado’s Family Medicine residencies in the recruitment, training, and retention of family medicine resident physicians and help meet the state’s recognized need for primary care physicians, especially in rural and under-served areas of the state.

Association Business Coordinator 

 

Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Director of Operations and Programs.

  • Assist in materials preparation for meetings, conference calls, special events, and trainings.

  • Respond to staff support requests and complete these requests in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate board meetings and committees; prepare and distribute documents; take minutes.

  • Build supportive relationships with board members, affiliate organizations, and team members.

  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

 

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or commensurate work experience

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team, including maintaining confidentiality.

  • Must have solid organizational skills and be able to track and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, including recording formal minutes for board and other meetings and functions.

  • Grant research and writing experience desired

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and be detail oriented.

  • Administrative Support: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.

  • Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with non-profit boards and committees.

Compensation: 

Salary Range: $18-$24/hour depending on experience (non-exempt/hourly). 

 

This is a 20-25 hour/week part-time position, with flexible hours that intersperse working from home and working from an office.
